Apical Telecom Consulting is a group of professionals from the Satcom industry. Apical (ATC) was started as a venture to cater to the local Satcom market needs in a proficient way using the key members’ experience in the field – to advise the customers of most cost effective and reliable ways of implementing their project plans.

The effort is very close to taking the Systems Integration role but initially was more focused on consulting – however, since 2006 ATC started getting into Equipment sales as well to augment the offering by working with some of the best manufactures of Antennae and Ground Communication Equipment and Satellite operators from across the globe.

Capabilities & Experience of ATC

ATC personnel have been involved in some of the most important projects in the Indian Subcontinent market in both Telecom and Broadcasting fields. Mobilising the correct resources, we are able to start with customers’ need assessment stage, help formalizing the requirement, precipitating the final SOW, conducting site survey (including RFI), Adjacent satellite interference tests, installation & optimization of antenna (different sizes from 1.0m to 13M), mobile and flyaway antenna, performance to clear Antenna Verification Tests undertake complete ground station activities including RF integration, Test, and Training.

ATC personnel have been involved in Project Management, Consulting, licensing and System Upgrades for both Telecom & Broadcasting industry. Having worked with ISRO on some of their projects gave us insight in the critical space projects. In the broadcast field we are able to undertake complete design of smaller stations beaming up-to 1 transponder (15 channels) and undertake complete RF section of the scope of stations as large as DTH facilities running a few hundred channels.
